Getting to Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre

 

The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre is located in the South Bank precinct, on the corner of Merivale St and Glenelg St. From the CBD, pedestrian access is over Victoria Bridge, a 10 to 15-minute walk from Queen Street Mall.

Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre has multiple public access points.

Train

South Brisbane Train Station – adjacent to Centre on Grey Street, with direct Air Train service For information about public transport visit translink.com.au for more information on go card, transfer rules and alternative services or call 13 12 30 anytime.

Airtrain

Catch the Airtrain from South Brisbane station to Brisbane’s international and domestic airports. Tickets are available for this service from the Client and Visitors Services Centre located in the Main Foyer.

Bus

The Cultural Centre is the main hub for most bus routes, only a few minutes walk away adjacent to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre. A Free Loop downtown bus service circles Brisbane’s Central Business District only.

CityCats

A popular and speedy way to travel the river. The CityCat terminal is located outside the riverside restaurants on the riverside promenade. CityCats operate daily from 5.30am to 10.30pm.

Car

There are 1,500 undercover parking spaces available at the Centre, accessed by Merivale Street. There is also a Secure Parking across the road from the Convention Centre at the SW1 Car Park offering all day weekend parking from $10.00.
